ISO/IEC 20000 is the international standard specifically for IT Service Management. It describes an integrated set of management processes which form a service management system for the effective delivery of services to the business and its customers.

The standard includes two main parts which enable IT service providers to identify methods to develop the quality of the services they deliver to their clients, both internally and externally whereby,

–  Part 1 specifies the requirements for developing and implementing an IT Service Management System and;

–  Part 2 includes guidance on the application of service management systems within the scope of ISO/IEC 20000-1.

Who is Foundation for?

Staff was working within a service provider organization that requires a basic understanding of the standard. It is equally relevant for those working within service providers who are already certified to ISO/IEC 20000 or those considering its implementation.

Certification

Participants who fully attend this course and complete the test on the last day will receive a Strategic Axis Professional Certificate (SAPC). SAPC certificates are regionally recognized and can be quite valuable when applying for more senior roles within the organization or outside.

Additionally, participants can pass PECB exam in Strategic Axis office to obtain an international certificate.
